How does one deal with gossip? I've never really had this problem before. Usually, I tell my friends when that happens to them that they should just ignore it and usually I try to prove to them that I don't think that way and that they should not've said what they did. Unfortunately, I find this one particularly disturbing. I got an award last night, and apparently, there are several people who don't think I deserved it... one person in particular. I certainly didn't expect the award, and it was an award that the teachers choose... so it's not like... oh idono. By doing this I could just be gossiping my self because I haven't heard it outta the persons mouth... but I don't doubt it. Apperently, this person whom I'm not naming got the whole first hour physics class talking about how I didn't deserve this particular award, along with this other one I recieved. Apparently, I'm not good enough for one of them, and I'm too skinny for the other one?? I'm not sure what the skinny part has to do with it... but alright. Anyways, it all evolved into how I "can't sing" and how I "should never've gotten into chamber singers" and how I'm "too skinny" (?). Well bah humbug to you too!! LOL Is it too caty to just go up to her and ask if she needs to tell me something, and if not, to shut up and forever hold her peace? LOL I called Jason Anderson (my local Bible reference guy besides my pastor), and he apperently thinks that since I have to deal with her sure for sure in class, that that would be my best bet because it's short and sweet. Please tell me what you think!! ttyl w/love, Becca
